We operate general medical services from Monday-Saturday. These include routine appointments for any medical issue as well as urgent on-the-day appointments being offered Monday-Friday.

Saturday Morning Clinic

The Saturday Morning Clinic is only for pre-booked, routine appointments. There is no facility for emergency appointments or home visits on this day. Urgent matters on a Saturday, if they cannot wait until Monday, should be dealt with via the 111 service.

Book Appointments Online

This is a separate service require a separate user name and password which you can obtain by contacting the reception. Once registered you can use to book your GP appointments and order your prescriptions online.

How to Register?

Please visit the reception and provide a form of identity and proof of address. The reception then will be able to provide you with a user name and password and instruction on how to use this service. This is an additional service to help our patients by offering alternative means of booking appointments and ordering their prescriptions. You are more than welcome to continue booking your appointments and ordering your prescriptions the way you are doing so far if you wish not to participate in this.

From April 2015-April 2016, 1,061 appointments were wasted at our surgery. This was equivalent to TWO WEEKS of GP time.

From January-April 2016, non attendances added an avoidable 2 DAYS to EVERY PATIENT’S waiting time for an appointment.

We understand there are at times genuine reasons that patients cannot attend their appointment but we request that we have as much notice as possible if you cannot attend. Only with notice can we reasonably offer the appointment to another patient.

Patients who repeatedly book appointments and then fail to attend will be removed from our practice lists in accordance with our policy that can be accessed here.
